Swarkestone Cricket Club
Swarkestone Cricket Club was founded in the early 20th century. The club is located just 5 miles from Derby, their home ground is located at Barrow Turn, in Swarkestone.
The club First Eleven play in the ECB Premier Division and they have a Second & Third Eleven also playing regular league fixtures. The club also has the ladies team, "Swarkie Senoras", as well as Junior & Recreational Teams of all ages.
The club are always on the lookout for new members as well as volunteers to help in running the Club as well as scorers and umpires
